Description: • Join group of 4
• Provides 24/7 in-house coverage
• Block Scheduling w/no call
• 7 am – 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am [double coverage on the 7 am – 7 pm shift)
• Work approximately 12 – 13 shifts per month
• Average patient census of 20-30 / can range from 15 – 40
• Hospitalists serve as the house code team
• Hospitalists do not coverage pediatrics
• no physician extenders in the program
• ICU patients are less than 25% of the case load
• Requirements: BC/BE Internal medicine, Ventilator mgt, LP and Central Lines, ACLS
• Experienced physicians preferred
• 110,000 in primary service area; additional 98,000 in secondary service area
