Job Description
Hospitalist Physicians wanted to see and evaluate patients being admitted to the hospital; provide follow up care, including coordinating all diagnostic treatments and processes during the hospital stay for patients treated during on-call hours; serve as attending inpatient physician of record; supervise medical house staff service in the care for patients; provide day-to-day care for the patients assigned to non-teaching and teaching medical service until discharge; consult with physicians with different specializations; provide on call coverage for nights and weekends; and teach medical resident on morning rounds and discuss the plan on each patient.
Working in a quality focused collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will be Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, eligible for Rhode Island licensure and possess excellent clinical and communication skills.
