South Carolina Hospitalist. Two additional Hospitalists are needed to join a group: These openings are a result of increased demand for Hospitalists services and one physician is leaving the group to go into a traditional private practice. Experienced candidates who are board certified in Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics are preferred. With the addition of two new members the schedule will be seven days on/seven days off. Duties include seeing some patients in the ICU and admitting patients through the ER in accordance with a rotating call schedule. The average daily patient load is eighteen.
