RESIDENCY PROGRAM DIRECTOR NEEDED in Salem, VA - This is a new position created because the hospital is embarking on a Residency program in conjunction with a school of osteopathic medicine in Blacksburg, VA. The successful candidate will manage residents in a GME program within the residency requirements of the AOA and applicable laws and regulations. This position will also provide leadership in the development and accreditation process of the program including, but not limited to, all document filings within the regulatory environment. The successful candidate will also oversee the recruitment and selection process of the residents. The successful candidate will be licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and have graduated from an accredited DO program. He or she should be educationally and attitudinally suited to develop and conduct a training program. Will have some clinical duties. Salary will be competitive dependent upon experience and qualifications.
