Group currently has 3 physicians in place and is looking for a 4th. Work 12 hour shifts with block scheduling. See 18 to 20 patients on average shift. The Hospitalist Team provides service response for codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, ICU procedures, unassigned ED call and patient admission/discharge. $200K compensation + full benefit package and RVU bonus potential.
Work out of 155-bed acute care facility with more than 300 medical staff members, including primary care and specialty physicians, 650 employees and 175 adult and junior volunteers. Charleston (population 13,390) is West Virginia’s capital city and is situated centrally in the state. This “close to it all” location provides for easy access to all that the region has to offer. The city itself boosts abundant cultural and recreational options including the Sunrise Museum, West Virginia Symphony, the State Capital Cultural Center and the Clay Center for Performing Arts.
South Charleston is also home to upscale residential areas with a variety of new and established housing and public and private schools. Historic homes are also available nearby. The city also hosts a number of colleges, which contribute to its business base along with retail, tourism and healthcare.
All of this is within easy access to the amenities of nearby Huntington and the major metropolitan activities of Pittsburgh, Columbus, Cincinnati, Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC.
