Job Description
Our client is a modern tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It includes a large multi-disciplinary Outpatient Specialty Clinic & a separate Admin Building. It is situated within a major government medical city complex, which includes other hospitals and health care facilities. Investment in additional resources to expand the existing facilities and to provide a greater range of quality healthcare services to the community and many expansions projects are currently taking place. The complex is scheduled to expand to 500 beds during 2008/9.
In 2002, the facility was accredited by the Canadian Council of Health Services Accreditation (CCHSA), meeting the criteria for standard of care delivered at world class hospitals and the first hospital in the Middle East to achieve this status. In July 2008 it was accredited by the Joint Commission International, further endorsing the quality of delivered care.
We now seek a Senior Consultant/Attending in Infectious Medicine with at least 3 years post-Board Certification experience within a significant western facility.
The position will carry a negotiable tax free salary, plus a raft of married status benefits. Three week "taster" locums are available for interested candidates a rate of US$12,000 per month (pro rata), plus return business class flights and free housing.
