Job Description

KY (3435) Infectious Disease A wonderfully educated and trained ID Physician is seeking a new associate. Her current associate is leaving in June to have a baby and has no plans to return. The hiring physician is seeking this replacement as soon as possible but will definitely wait for the right candidate until the summer of '09.
Call would be 1/3 as there is another physician in the community willing to share call. There would be a 2 year wait for partnership.
This hospital is a tertiary care medical center with a service area of 350K.
The town is a lovely warm and friendly small town with an excellent school system The are excellent schools both public and private. The public schools have a Gifted and Talented program, and there is an accelerated program in Science and Math.
The town is located 1.5 hours from Columbus, 1.5 hours from Lexington, 2 hours from Cincinnati and 1/2 hour from Marshall University the home of Marshall Medical School which is located in a town of 70K.
There is a local airport that is only 15 minutes away.
