We are assisting a private practice group in the recruitment of a 5th Hospitalist.
15 Physician Multi-specialty Group seeks their 5th Hospitalist. Hospitalists admit and manage patients at a 143 local hospital. Group averages 10-13 admissions per 24 hour period, and manages 12-15 patients each. This position includes ICU coverage, and the group also has a triple boarded Pulmonology/Critical Care physician for assistance there as well. Schedule is set up so that each physician works in blocks of time of: 5 days on/ 6 days off/ 3 on/ 4 off/ 7 on/ 3 off. This is an example of a 28 day schedule. Community of 5,000 is located in a county of 60,000, located about 1 hour from Charlotte, and 1 hour from Asheville. Economy is based on light industrial business, manufacturing and tourism.
