Job Description

A 150 bed hospital in the central part of Kansas seeks Internal Medicine coverage. The candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and should expect to work 40 hours per week. The locum tenens Internist should expect between 15 to 18 patients per day in the outpatient clinic and should expect to be on-call at the hospital on a 1:5 rotation. The client would like coverage to start ASAP and last on a month-to-month basis or until a permanent Internal Medicine physician is found. If you are not licensed to practice medicine in Kansas, Locum Medical will assist and pay for the state license, which takes approximately six to eight weeks.
