Job Description

-Locums coverage needed for at least 2-3 months, also recruiting for a permanent physician.
-90% outpatient, 10% inpatient.
-Full-time: 5 days per week (option #1); 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (option #2); Saturday morning hours may be considered in the future.
-Patients: Patient profile includes a large cohort of elderly patients with co-morbidities.
-Call: Rotation – 4 days per month, occasional back up required on weekends.
-9 Internists (including 3 Hospitalists) and 3 Family Practitioners on staff.
-Hospitalists provide inpatient coverage, including weekends.
-We will license if you do not have a active ME license, takes 4-6 weeks.
