Job Description
Internal Medicine physicians provide primary care to any patient above the age of 16 years. Service is provided at the Medical Center, the ER, Nursing Homes and Health Reach & Patient's Homes. Other services include: Daily rounds at the adjoining hospital, 5-6 days/week. Call coverage in rotation. Nursing home rounds scheduled as needed. Stress testing, EKG review and Holter Monitor Reading. Pulmonlogy function rest reading. Sleep study reading and temp., pacemaker implantation (if credentialed). Lumbar puncture, flexible signoid oscopy, thoracentesis, paralentesis, minor skin biopsy or treatments.
