Job Description
BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join an expanding clinic that provides services to patients of all ages. Option to perform procedures, including stress tests, in this newly expanded clinic with a procedure room. Clinic is located in Elk River, a fast growing city just outside the Twin Cities metro area. Provide Internal Medicine expertise to colleagues in the Elk River clinic. See on average 18-24 patients/day. Partner with other Internal Medicine physicians at the Fairview Northland Clinic and Hospital, located in Princeton. A Med/Peds physician in Zimmerman also shares call/rounding responsiblities. Rounding and call would be 1:4 weeks with 1 week of exclusive inpatient medicine as the "hospitalist" and then focus the other 3 weeks on outpatient, clinic practice.
The medical staff provides comprehensive care including diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions. Specialty services include internal medicine, general surgery, mammography, ultrasound, CT scanning, plastic surgery. On site imaging, lab and pharmacy.
