Our client is looking for an Internal Medicine physician to join the staff. The practice is located in the northern part of the state about 11 miles from the Canadian border. The location is three hours to Manchester and 2 hours to Montreal. The catchment area has about 8,000 residents and services about 850 sq. miles. The area has a large amount of visitors due to skiing and other outdoor recreational activities available. The facility sees about 22,000 patients per year. The client is part of a large regional health care alliance. They are an FQHC to allow higher reimbursement rates. The payer mix is 20% Medicare, 10-12% Medicaid, 10-11% private pay and the balance is commercial.
