Internal Medicine Physician needed $7,000 relocation fee with receipts.
Salary based off of experience and qualifications.

Description

Provides consultations by examining patients; reviewing medical records, reports, and logs; researching information; developing conclusions and care recommendations; advising attending physician. Responds to life-threatening emergencies by taking charge of "code" situations; initiating cardiopulmonary resuscitation and advanced cardiac life support; notifying attending physician; completing incident reports for attending physician. Completes intravenous therapies by inserting difficult iv's, central lines, and catheters. Treats seriously ill patients by providing intensive care unit and critical care unit triage; completing reports for attending physician. Provides quality assurance services by prescreening cases requiring review by the quality assurance committee. Maintains patient confidence by keeping patient care information confidential. Updates medical knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Serves and protects the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and JCAHO standards. Enhances medical staff and hospital reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
Experience

2 years labor and delivery
Licenses/Certificates

Current state licensure required
