About the position:
We are seeking a full time Board Certified internist to join our excellent 8-member General Medicine Unit. This faculty position will be instrumental in fulfilling the clinical, educational, and academic mission of the division.

•Our 41-member Internal Medicine Residency Program is fully accredited and has been highly successful at fellowship and job placements. Board pass rate was 100% last year.

•The General Medicine Unit (GMU) supports the educational mission for the Health System and guides the Graduate Medical Education and Residency programs.

•Our Health System is affiliated with the University School of Medicine and Dentistry for medical education, and provides medical students with opportunities to learn and practice hands-on patient care at our Hospital and clinic settings.

Our facilities
We are a not-for-profit community hospital, is an affiliate of a Health System, with almost 700 bed health care network serving the city of over 1 million in population including the surrounding County. Specialty units exist in our acute care hospital include its intensive care unit, surgery, psychiatry and behavioral health, obstetrics, and brain injury rehabilitation. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and is a major teaching affiliate of the University School of Medicine and Dentistry.
