A very busy traditional Internal Medicine group offers a great opportunity to the physician who wants to provide the full range of inpatient and outpatient service. Practice is a member of the local Physician Network of hospital-managed practices.
The position features the benefits afforded a hospital-employed physician with rewards that recognize individual productivity. The opportunity in our practice is based on market growth and succession planning. The staff and administration of the practice is stable. You will be joining a highly respected team of providers. Our IM group helps to support our team of Hospitalists by providing night call coverage on a rotating basis for additional
compensation.

The population of “boomers” relocating and re-engaging into our beautiful mountain area will fuel a demographic shift that will benefit the medical community.

The Physician Network provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market through nine separate practice groups and locations. Our Emergency Department
sees about 30,000 visits a year. A team of hospitalists manages inpatient care for the majority of our physicians and provides medical consults and medical management of surgical patients as required.

Mammography; Stereotactic Breast Biopsy; Outpatient Surgery Center; Approved Community Hospital Cancer Program with Commendation by the American College of Surgeons;affiliate of the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Comprehensive Cancer Center with access to the NCI clinical trials; Residency trained & Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physicians; Neurology and Memory Center; Pain Management Center;Rehabilitation Services; Surgical services in General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics,
