Med/Peds Opportunity in a "bedroom" community in Central Illinois

Job Description

John D. Warner Hospital has an opportunity for an IM/Ped physician to join a Rural Health Clinic practice. The Clinic is located in the medical office pavilion attached to the hospital. This space was constructed in 1999. The practice consists of one Pediatrician, one Internal Medicine Physician, and one Nurse Practitioner. Office hours are Monday thru Friday. The practice is in the process of converting to computerized medical records. Physician’s also have access to all radiology from their office location due to the hospitals PACS technology. Call for the practice would be 1:2 and for the ER 1:5.

The opportunity is an employment opportunity with a competitive base salary. There is a RVU bonus structure which will allow a physician to make bonus above their guaranteed salary. Payer mix is not a concern with this type of compensation package. The hospital offers benefits including reimbursement for malpractice, health insurance, relocation assistance etc.

Clinton Illinois is located in the heart of Illinois and centrally located to three large Illinois cities. Clinton has a suburban feel as it is located only 30 minutes from Decatur and Bloomington/Normal. Champaign/Urbana, home of the University of Illinois is only a short 45 minute drive.
