Med/Ped opportunity in a Central Illinois Community

Job Description

Kewanee Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice Physician or IM/Ped to staff the new rural health clinic. Currently the rural health clinic is staffed by a midlevel provider. There is a need for more family care in the area. Currently there are only 2 Internists and a Family Practice physician that has hours only 2 days a week. There is a lot of potential for pediatric care. Taking new pediatric patients is required for this opportunity. No OB is required. Call for the practice is 1:3. Call for the nursery is 1:3. There are about 180 deliveries a year at Kewanee Hospital.
