Med/Ped opportunity in Southern Illiois

Job Description

Salem Township Hospital is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Physician for their community. This would be a traditional inpatient/outpatient practice. Call for the practice, when fully staffed, will be 1:4. Call for the ER is 1:6 and the physician is only called for unassigned patients. Most ER call is phone call. Within the coming year, a new building will be built to house this practice.

The opportunity is a very competitive two year income guarantee with no repayment required as long as the 4 year commitment is met. The hospital is also committed to providing a generous set up allotment that is forgiven over the commitment time period. During the guarantee time frame the hospital will provide 5 weeks of time off and one extra week for CME. $10,000 per year will be provided to the physician as reimbursement for health insurance expenses. A generous relocation allowance is also provided.
