Internal Medicine -- St. John's Mercy Medical Group
St. John's Mercy Medical Group (SJMMG) has excellent practice opportunities for board certified or board eligible internal medicine physicians to join practices in the St. Louis metropolitan area and utilizing St. John’s Mercy Medical Center.
SJMMG is the primary care component of St. John’s Mercy Health Care. Currently, SJMMG has 150 primary care physician members operating in 67 practices throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. With 70% of its Board of Directors serving as member physicians, SJMMG is truly physician lead and managed. By combining the medical expertise and daily patient contact of the SJMMG physician with the managerial, financial and market strengths of St. John’s Mercy Health Care, our health delivery system reduces duplication of effort, increases the effectiveness of the physicians and the hospitals and delivers the highest-quality and most cost-effective care to the community. By joining SJMMG, you will:
• manage your practice on a daily basis, yet be able to call upon SJMMG administrative staff when necessary for human resource, financial or operations support.
• have access to more technology, centralized billing and insurance procedures, group purchasing and managed care negotiations
• gain marketing support, patient communications tools and patient referrals
St. John's is an 859-bed, community based, not for profit, teaching hospital. It is designated as a Level I trauma center and has residency training programs in internal medicine, family medicine, and obstetrics & gynecology. This position does not qualify for a J-1 Visa Waiver
