Job Description

Auburn, WA: Auburn Regional Medical Center is assisting two practices recruit Internists.

An established, four-person group is recruiting an Internist; two of the members are retiring, after which the group will carry on with three fulltime members. The group currently sees 15 – 20 patients per physician per day; a hospitalist group is used for in-patient care. Call is by phone only, and is every three nights and every third weekend.

Compensation includes a very competitive income guarantee for the first year, switching to a productivity model in Year 2. In lieu of a formal partnership track, members enter into an expense sharing agreement after Year 1.

An established solo practitioner is interested in recruiting someone to take over the practice when he retires in one to two years. Currently averaging 23 – 30 patients per day; the practice uses a Hospitalist group, so no inpatient care. Compensation includes an income guarantee.
