30454 - Incredible locum tenens job opportunity for a Nephrology doctor in upstate New York on Lake Champlain and at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Hospital-based nephrology group needs locums coverage while they search for a perm doctor. Three-doctor group had one leave unexpectedly for a minimum of three months, possibly longer. Could be perm job for the right doctor. Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM. 100% inpatient work. Call is 1:3. Procedures are Quinton Catheters and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). You will admit to ICU. Specialists and three Intensivists cover the ICU 24/7. You will see between 18-30 PPD. The hospital is a level II trauma center with advanced services such as neurosurgery and CT surgery. The sub-specialty support is quite good. Daily census of approximately 265. This job is located in an incredibly beautiful and interesting place. You will be working in a charming city with a population of 38,000. If you enjoy the cosmopolitan, European flavor of France, Montreal is less than an hour away. Burlington, Vermont and the Lake Placid Olympic Region are all within an hour’s drive as well.
