Job Description

Neurologist needed in northwest Arkansas. Board certified or board eligible physician is needed to join a group of 4 physicians. This very wellestablished practice is growing and needs another partner to help with the patient load. This practice is currently conducting 5 clinical trials. The case studies include two on Parkinsons disease one on stroke and one on botox. They maintain case studies year round with 2 fulltime RNs for research. In addition they also have 2 fulltime RNs for practicing purposes. The current call schedule is 1:4 going to 1:5 with an addition of a new doc. There is not a lot of weekday call and weekends tend to vary. They try to make call more of a consultative service. They read their own MRIs 2025 scans daily and would require a new physician to complete the 200 hrs of CME to be accredited by the American Board of Radiology. There is a one year income guarantee provided by the hospital and partnership available after 1 year and board certification completion. The income guarantee is based on the MGMA standard rate but starts at $240 000. Additionally the package would include relocation full benefits and signing bonus both of which are negotiable. There is a 401k and profit sharing package upon partnership. 2008 candidates to be considered with possible stipend for early signing and commitment.
