Neurology Position in Eastern Iowa

Job Description

A multi-specialty group of employed physicians, is seeking two neurologists to join its Spine and Brain Institute. The institute is comprised of neurosurgeons, physiatrists, pain management physicians and neurologists. A referral base of 145 providers throughout Northeast Iowa will assure a busy practice from the beginning. A generous salary guarantee plus incentive bonuses that are computed much like a single specialty group are offered along with a complete benefit package. General neurologists with interests/training in stroke or cognitive neurology would be a plus. The practice is set in a mid-size community with a state university, a Center for the Performing Arts and numerous opportunities for recreational and cultural interests.
Our Health Systemis an integrated network of not-for-profit hospitals and physician clinics for profit retail pharmacies and home medical services that share the common goal of providing quality health care in Iowa. The Health System consists of a hospital, a 366-bed, full-service, multi-specialty hospital and two other hospitals. A full complement of facilities and services are available to support the community needs. Our hospital offers has a certified brain, spinal cord and inpatient medical rehabilitation program. It has a Level II intensive care nursery is located at the hospital. It also provides the community with a certified cancer care center and has the distinction of being approved by the Commission of Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. Our clinic system comprised of approximatley 130 physicians, specialty physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants provide care in the communities in which patients live and work. The clinic provides a family-friendly atmosphere with a variety of attractions, recreational and cultural entertainment.
