Seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible General Neurologist for South Nashville, TN - Solo, Start-up opportunity with financial support from hospital. General Neurologist needed; super opportunity to practice your sub-specialty focus of Headache, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Dementia, or Stroke. (This is not a viable opportunity for a Sleep-focused practice.) Will provide hospital coverage and inpatient consults. Freedom to set up outpatient practice as you wish, with excellent support by primary care physician groups. Share call with 1 other established Neurologist on campus who is excited about adding another physician due to patient volumes and community need (Call 1:2); Hospitalist Program in place. Hospital ED visits last year: 24k with primarily higher acuity Levels 2 & 3. Aging population - 55+ and growing. While hospital had the largest volume growth in 2007, only about 10% of the market was in neuro product line so there is a huge potential for General Neurology. Ambitious, self-disciplined solo physician needed to hit the ground running in full-time practice. Requires excellent training programs, experience, and top communication skills
