Enjoy a thriving clinical practice along with research opportunities at a Medical Center's Movement Disorders Center, located in East Texas. As a division of the this Medical Center's Neurological Institute, this program is one of the few APDA centers in the state and has performed approximately 100 deep-brain stimulation procedures since 2002. This opportunity offers the best of high-tech medicine balanced with outstanding quality of life. This Medical Center is a not-for-profit, hospital-owned healthcare system dedicated to serving 1.5 million area residents. This Movement Disorders Center enjoys referrals from both tertiary and community hospitals and more than 40 clinics. This part of the state is beautiful and lush, offering an excellent climate and many recreational opportunities, all within easy driving distance of the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. This is an income-guarantee position with support from a Regional Healthcare System, a network of 14 hospitals (including the region’s only Level I trauma center), clinics and other medical organizations located throughout a 20+ country area. With two neurologists who have been on staff for several years, including one Harvard-trained movement disorders specialist, this Movement Disorders Center will keep a new physician specialist busy from day one
