Job Description
Consider this exciting opportunity to build a neurology practice in an area that offers a great quality of life. This is a desirable opportunity that will allow the ideal candidate to grow the neurology practice with autonomy and full support of hospital administration and the medical staff. Be fairly reimbursed for your practice and have an excellent balance between work and the rest of life. Practice in only one hospital. No other neurologists located within this service area. The perfect candidate will support the community as a solo practitioner and support the ER staff and physicians in a consulting role. Will not be responsible for extensive hospital call and will be a resource for physicians covering inpatient census. Strong referral system with a defined need at this community hospital. Primary draw area of 35,000 and a secondary draw area of 92,000. The selected physician will be able to perform a variety of neurological procedures including EEGs and EMGs.
Recruitment incentive package may include income support, practice start up assistance, sign- on bonus, student loan repayment, stipend for last year residents, relocation allowance and marketing.
Area does not qualify for J-1 candidates. No H1B positions. Board certification required through the AOA or the American Board of Medical Specialties (unless residency has just been completed). MD or DO accepted.
