BE/BC Washington Neurologist needed. The Neurology Department seeks a topnotch Stroke specialist to join a wellestablished practice and fine team of 4 adult neurologists with subspecialty focus. The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained in stroke with an interest in acute stroke management and intensive stroke therapies. Primary responsibilities will be a focused practice in stroke and cerebrovascular diseases in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Inpatient arrangement is part of a JCAHO certified primary stroke center with a neuroscience intensive care an active stroke program with stroke coordinator neurointerventionalists and research studies including acute management neuroprotection and intraarterial stenting/angioplasty and clot retrieval. Outpatient research trials include PROCESS. A hospitalbased practice emphasizing cerebrovascular diseases some acute general neurology inpatient consultations and a variable outpatient clinic is anticipated. Currently the 4 adult neurologists and 3 midlevel providers provide general neurology services and expertise in the following specialty areas: EMG and Electrodiagnosis peripheral nerve disorders/neuromuscular disease cerebrovascular diseases epilepsy and MS. Offering a wellequipped department providing EEG EMG and Imaging Services a current adult call schedule of 1:4 weekday and 1:6 for weekends.
