NEUROLOGY IN THE NORTHWEST

Job Description

Practice: One of our clients is seeking a neurologist to join a thriving, well organized 100 member multi-specialty practice serving a regional population of 150K in the perfect location in western Washington within one hour of Portland, the mountains and the beaches. The practice currently has 2 neuromuscular neurologists and our client is looking for a neurologist trained in neurophysiology or a strong general neurologist. In addition, they prefer a neurologist who is BC/BE “sleep” as this practice will be 80% general neurology and 20% sleep. Experience in treating multiple sclerosis and epilepsy would also be helpful. There will be 3 to 4 inpatient consults per week. There is a 4 day work week plus call. Call is 1:2 and 1 weekend per month from home. Fully integrated electronic medical record (EMR).
Compensation: First year salary guarantee is based on MGMA national median, experience and internal equity. Salary in subsequent years is based on RVU production. Robust benefit package.
Qualifications: They will consider board eligible as well as board certified physicians and those that are just coming out of fellowship. Our client is looking for a neurologist trained in neurophysiology or a strong general neurologist. In addition, they prefer a neurologist who is BC/BE “sleep” as this practice will be 80% general neurology and 20% sleep. Experience in treating multiple sclerosis and epilepsy would also be helpful. They will consider those candidates on an H1B visa (if already under the cap).

The mountains (including 8 ski areas), the beaches, the wineries of the central valley and downtown Portland, Oregon are all within an hour’s drive.
