Job Description
The Practice:
•Seeking a board certified/eligible neurologist
•Join two other Neurologists in group
•Full-time practice is primarily general adult neurology with some pediatric neurology
•Competence in EMGs is preferred, but other interests are welcome
•Call will be equally shared among the neurologists
•Neurology service is part of a neuroscience team, including adult neurology, a consistently growing neurosurgery practice, neuropsychology, as well as pediatric neurology outreach services from a nearby city
•Multispecialty group/healthcare network with more than 200 physicians and associate providers
•Serves a primary care population base of 240,000
•Neurology referrals come from providers within the health system, the Family Practice Residency Program with 18 residents and six faculty, as well as independent physicians within 60 miles of location
•Healthcare system has two other small community hospitals in WI and twelve other clinics located in WI, MN and IA
•The Neurology position will include providing outreach services to some of these regional sites
•250 beds, has a full neurodiagnostics lab with EEG, EP, polysomnography and video-EEG
•The EMG lab is located in the Clinic
•Full diagnostic radiology and laboratory services are available on site
•There is a 16-bed ICU/CCU, cardiac cath lab, Renal Dialysis Unit, Level III NICU and Rehabilitation Unit
•The Emergency Medical & Trauma Center is staffed 24 hours by Emergency Medicine physicians
•The clinic facility is physically connected to the hospital
