Seeking Neurosurgeon for private practice. Call coverage provided. Excellent compensation package is being offered to include but not limited to income guarantee, CME, relocation, bonus as well as medical education debt assistance, if applicable. Serving one of the fastest growing counties in the state, the hospital is a 168-bed JCAHO accredited facility with a service area of approximately 250,000 residents. This hospital offers full service, acute-care, ER and the only Level 11 trauma center in the county and a Sky Flight Care Heliport team. An open heart program is opening the summer of 2002 with an initial expected caseload of up to 500 cardiovascular procedures. This hospital has six operating suites and offers a wide range of surgical procedures including orthopedic, plastic reconstructive, hand, urologic, general, eye, ear, nose and throat, gynecologic, neuro and laser. Special units focus on Critical Care, Progressive Care and acute care hemodialysis. There is 24-hr coverage by laboratory, X-ray, EKG and Respiratory Therapy Departments. Situated 35 miles west of Philadelphia, the home of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, Chester County has a rich history which spans the American Revolution, the Civil War and the first steel company in America.
