Job Description

A prestigious 200+ bed medical center located in the greater Seattle area is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join their specialty group. The practice consists of 2 surgeons with plans to expand to 4 within the next year.
Current surgeons average close to 400 surgical cases per year. The case Mix is 45% Cranial Surgery (diverse including aneurysm, tumor and trauma) and 55 % spinal surgery. Hospital has Stealth Brain lab – guided imaging capability. It offers a complete spectrum of state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient medical care. Facility features include a critical care patient floor, the Heart Care Center (the region's only open heart surgery program) and a high tech Health Information Center. Other specialty services include cancer care, oncology, diabetes, neurological sciences, a level III trauma center in emergency and a rehabilitation program and clinic. Current Orthopedic environment does not provide complex spine surgery. Significant growth potential!! This practice is the only neurosurgery practice in a 90 mile radius. Current catchment area is defined with 235,000 in resident population. State license is preferred but eligibility is acceptable. Residents and fellows are welcomed!!
