This is an opportunity to be in AL close to Birmingham and Montgomery. There are two OB/GYNs their now and one is looking to retire in June 2008. The call is two day on two days off and Fridays are rotated. Also UAB covers every 3rd weekend so weekend call is 1/3. There are plans to recruit another OBGYN in 2009 to meet there demands. The hospital is a level II nursery that can deliver at 37 weeks. They are doing about 50+ deliveries a month and anticipate about 640+ deliveries for the year. The salary is $260k with full benefits health, 401k, CME $2000 a year with five paid days, three weeks vacation, relocation, loan repayment and partnership after two years.
