Job Description
Physicians Group is seeking three OB/GYNs for a practice in Central Michigan. There is a strong community need, as demonstrated by a backlog for routine GYN. Client is looking for an experienced OB/GYN, graduating resident or fellow. The Group is a multispecialty group with more than 95 providers in 14 specialties in five counties.
This employed position is structured as a 4.5-day work week with traditional office hours. Office staff and management are provided by the practice. Billing and collection are handled offsite. The physician will practice in a large, shared suite located within a newly expanded primary care building which is connected to the Medical Center by an enclosed walkway.
This is a busy practice of 15 to 20 outpatient visits per day per physician, covering the full range of gynecological and obstetrical care. Outpatient visits typically include gynecological, obstetrics, minor procedures, colposcopy, ultrasound, paps, and well-health physicals. Surgeries include laparoscopy, circumcision, conization, hysterectomy, endoscopy and caesarian sections.
