This is an opportunity to start your own practice in northern MS close to Memphis TN. There are four physician in the area now all in solo practice and they help each other out with call. Last year the doctors did about 1000 delivers and they expect to exceed that this year. The hospital is a level I nursery but they treat a variety of newborns and very few are shipped to a NICUU. The salary is based on MGMA standards plus practice expenses. The county has a population of 27,000 with a service area of 45,000 and with a new construction it should increase the growth rate.
