Job Description

Practice Details: * This growing healthcare system located near the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri is seeking an OB/GYN due to a retiring physician. * Last year 449 deliveries, 123 of them C-sections, surgeries 10-15 per month,, Nursery Level 1, 8 Labor/Delivery/Post Partum Suites, Call 1:3 Weekends. * Inpatient status is generally 3-4. Physicians take their own call during the week. * Community service area of a 50,000 drawing area. Group has a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. * Physicians do their own epidurals and have scheduled surgery blocktime. * Unassigned patients are taken by the on-call physician. Hospital and Group Information: * Practice with the convenience of the new 44 bed hospital (which is expanding), just next door, where OB/Gyn services are being expanded. Compensation: * The salary of a newly recruited physician is guaranteed at $250K * The two current physicians are both earning in the $400K range. * The incentive bonus would be available once the individual business unit has exceeded defined operational expenses of the practice during a one-year period and the amount of that bonus will be determined by the business unit physician members. * After the initial guaranteed period, the physician*s compensation is based upon his/her production (net revenue) and the business unit (practice) financial performance. * After the guarantee period, physicians are provided a semi-monthly draw based upon prior year's compensation and the expected earnings for the upcoming year. Community: * Located in the scenic Ozarks of South Central Missouri, Clinic is is located 2 1/2 hours southwest of St. Louis and one-hour northeast of Springfield. * This community offers a wide variety of activities; three major shopping areas feature everything from outlet malls to antique shops. * Located just 15 minutes from famous Bennett Springs State Park, a trout fisherman's dream.
