Job Description
We are assisting a hospital in Montana in the recruitment of a 3rd OBGYN. Following are some points of interest:
Hospital has newly remodeled OBGYN dept with 8 LDRP rooms. Currently there are 2 OBGYN’s and 4 FP’s who are doing deliveries. Regular call will be 1 in 3 while ER backup call is 1 in 7. Hospital will offer an employment arrangement as follows:
Starting salary in the 225 plus range for 2 years. Hospital pays overhead such as rent, staff, etc. Paid malpractice with pro-rated paid exiting tail coverage. Completely paid if physician stays at least 5 years. Health, life, disability, dental etc. 6 weeks total time off.
$ 5,000 for CME, which can be carried over for 2 years. This is a HIPSA site, for student loan repayment! After the initial 2 years, or prior to that if physician desires, they can move to a production model- hospital will still pay overhead. Production model gives the physician 50% of all billing. Hospital assumes responsibility for collections! These are the only OBGYN providers for 110 miles.
This community is the County Seat of Hill County and Montana’s eighth largest city, with a population of 9,621. They are located approximately 45 miles south of the Canadian border, in the center of Montana’s “Hi-line”.
