Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a private practice in Coastal NC. Currently there are two physicians and a nurse midwife seeking to add one more. The call will be 1:3 and for the emergency department would be 1/7. The hospital has a level 1 nursery. Infants requiring NICU services are airlifted 15 minutes by air to the city. Currently the hospital averages roughly 860 deliveries/year with the practice doing about 300 a year. The hospital is providing a one year income guarantee of $200k – 210k, plus incremental operating expenses that would include health & dental insurance, life insurance, license fees, CME, mal practice insurance and more. The town has a population of 20,000+, County 34,000, the service area consists of seven counties with an aggregate population of over 150,000. Sorry no visa candidates but 2009 residents are welcome.
