Excellent New OB/GYN Position in Greenville, North Carolina!!
Description: The Women’s Clinic section is part of an 80+ multi-specialty group. The office is located just across the street from the University Medical Center/Memorial Hospital, a 750-bed academic medical center that is a tertiary care center and the Home of East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine. The presence of a large neonatal ICU in our hospital allows us to do high risk as well as low risk obstetrics. We have a cordial and supportive relationship with the full-time ECU medical faculty, which includes sub specialists in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. We have found that the easy availability of consultations with sub specialists has enhanced the quality of our practice. We have also found that it is much easier to stay up to date with changes in our specialty due to the ongoing interaction that we have with residents and medical students as well as the easy access to educational activities such as the weekly grand rounds in OB-GYN. Call is shared equally with five other physicians. For those interested in teaching residents, a Clinical position is available with the ECU SOM.
