We are assisting a private practice single specialty group in the recruitment of a 5th OBGYN physician. Below are some points of interest:

Group currently has 4 members who have been together for approximately 10 years. Due to continued growth, they seek a 5th provider. New provider could expect to ramp up to a delivery volume in the 175 range, in addition to a busy surgical schedule. Call is shared equally at the local 165 bed hospital with a level I nursery. Hospital will provide the initial attractive income guarantee plus overhead expenses, as the new physician ramps up their practice and looks towards partnership. To keep a continuity of financial expectations, the guarantee provided by the hospital, and realistic income potential after the guarantee time period are closely mirrored.
