Job Description
We are assisting a 35 member physician owned and managed multispecialty group in the recruitment of a 3rd OBGYN. Group has 35 physicians and 30 midlevel providers.
Busy OBGYN dept seeks a third provider. Currently, these physicians are electing to take call for their individual patients, but with other providers in the area, that call is expanded to a 1 in 7 ratio if desired. A new physician could ramp up to a busy delivery volume of 20-25 deliveries per month, with an average major surgery load of 8 per month, and a minor case load of about 20. C section rate is 20%. Group’s offices are fully updated and equipped, including electronic records, lab, x-ray, procedure rooms, etc. Deliveries are done at the 2 local hospitals, each with a level II nursery. Surgeries are also done here and at their surgery center. Group will offer a competitive starting salary, incentive plan based on collections minus individual overhead, full benefits package. Partnership is offered after 1 year, with a buy of shares.
