The new hospital will have fully integrated operating rooms. Call is currently one in three and will become one in four. Employment position with the Intermountain Medical Group. Tremonton is the best of both worlds in that it is a rural community but only 40 miles from a larger metropolitan city and 25 miles from Utah State University. Bear River Valley Hospital, located in Tremonton, is a modern, 20-bed facility, staffed by 46 medical personnel and other employees. The facility services Tremonton and the surrounding area. A new 44,000 square-foot hospital is scheduled to open in January 2009. It will be licensed for 20 beds and will be next to a 20,000 square-foot physicians' office building that will house physicians in the Intermountain Medical Group. The new hospital will also include six same-day surgery suites, an expanded ER, three operating rooms and two Labor & Delivery rooms.
