Job Description

We are assisting a busy private practice in south central Virginia with the recruitment of an OBGYN due to a growth and a future retirement. Below are some points of interest:

Currently the practice consists of 2 OBGYN’s. The practice and area continues to grow, and next year one of the members will retire. Remaining provider seeks another associate to work with her on the continued growth pattern. New associate can expect to be able to ramp up to over 200 deliveries per year very rapidly. Call will be shared with another solo in town on a 1 in 3 rotation. Office suites are on the hospital campus.
Hospital has 8 LDR suites and a dedicated C section room in the women’s center.

There will be an initial income guarantee and full benefits package provided by the hospital to assist the new provider as they become established in the private practice. Due to continued growth and favorable reimbursements, this can be a very financially rewarding opportunity for a new provider. In addition, Virginia remains one of the more physician friendly states in the country, especially as it applies to malpractice rates.
