Job Description

OB/GYN private practice of 4 located on the Washington Coast is recruiting an OB/GYN due to an upcoming retirement. This long established practice currently has 2 OB/GYN’s and 2 Midwives, located in a community of 20,000. One of the physicians will be retiring and the practice seeks his replacement. Practice is currently averaging 50 deliveries per month shared among the providers, plus a busy GYN surgical schedule. Deliveries and surgeries are done at the local 200 bed hospital. This opportunity is unique in a few ways, including the fact that it has been in existence for at least 26 years, all of the providers share in the profits equally, (after fixed expenses have been paid), and that they have historically operated on more of a verbal agreement/ trust arrangement. The group will offer an initial start up guarantee, and move to standard production after 3-6 months. New provider can assume the busy the practice of one of the retiring physicians, with no buy in to the group.

Beautiful coastal community of 16,000 is located 1 hour west of Olympia, WAin Grays Harbor County located on the southern edge of the Olympic Peninsula at the convergence of the Wishkah and Chehalis Rivers. The history of this area has been driven by the logging and fishing industries, although in the last few years there has been a concerted effort to replace these with an emphasis on tourism and designating the city as the largest retail center on the Washington Coast.
