Job Description
Washington Hematology/Oncology. Excellent opportunity is available for a BC/BE oncologist to join a fine team of 3 oncologists and 1 oncology nurse practitioner. This is a very busy and growing practice with a significant referral base and low managed care volume. The oncologists are participants in SWOG and NSABP trials actively participate in local tumor boards and are involved in teaching of IM residents. The practice provides comprehensive oncology services for patients who have been referred for medical radiation and surgical therapies allowing coordinated care between hospital and outpatient settings. This facility has an expanded infusion center with 12 chemoadministering chairs one bed and a staff of 4 RNs. Additionally plans are underway to expand services to an additional site. The main clinic is a modern clinic facility with stateoftheart ancillary services including: a fullservice laboratory and comprehensive diagnostic imaging services with a staff of 6 radiologists.
