Job Description

Candidate must have US citizenship or proper Authorization to work, proficiency in written/spoken English. Possess and maintain ANY current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory or commonwealth of the U.S. ACLS required.

Reports to the Chief, Surgical Service for clinical practice and other professional responsibilities. Physicians will work full-time, 40 hours per week and be available for additional hours if needed. The physician is an independent care provider who is highly skilled in the management of a patient’s orthopedic needs and treatment.

The orthopedic surgeon will practice, promote and implement current safety policies and procedures, assess safety needs of patients and implement opportunities to improve environmental and operation safety. The orthopedic surgeon has additional responsibilities which are outlined in clinical privileges and provide clinical oversight to the orthopedic physician assistant(s).

Compensation. Base salary is depending on experience; tax free COLA adjustment; pay for performance bonus; malpractice paid for; 10 Holidays with additional 26 days PTO (5+ weeks!); health insurance coverage for self and family, portable when retirement eligible! CME Tuition support. Relocation package.
