Job Description
Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon is being sought for an established inpatient/outpatient practice. There is a well established need in the region and a high quality surgeon will quickly establish themself and have a strong base that demonstrates support for clinically sound specialists. The ideal candidate will have a general orthopedic practice although moderate specialization can be accommodated.
Regional Medical Center offers a comprehensive medical support system and is teamed with Regional Healthcare System to facilitate seamless tertiary transfers when needed. The Emergency Department serves nearly 24,000 patients a year, with wait times are less than half the national average. Outpatient services include comprehensive surgical services, state of the art 64 slice CT and MRI imaging, and cardiac services. Expansion plans currently in process include OR and ED projects.
Between the 2000 and 2006 censuses, the County's population grew by 41%.
