We are looking for a full-time, hospital employed Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Total Joints. The practice responsibilities include total joint replacements, trauma and general orthopedic procedures. Treatments would include diagnosis and treatment of degenerative bone conditions, disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system.

Although we are a small health system in rural Idaho, we have grown into a very unique organization that includes a full service hospital, a specialty hospital for spine surgery and a variety of programs that include a general and vascular surgery program, a multi-county lap band program, a large primary care division, the largest regional spine surgery program in southeast Idaho, a regional multi disciplinary pain management program, in-house acute and chronic dialysis department, an interventional radiology program with two IR docs and much more. I know it sounds like a cliché, but you have to see this place to believe it, we are truly like a 5 star hotel.

This is a full employment opportunity with no overhead expenses. The hospital pays for all expenses including malpractice. The base salary starts at different levels for each specialty and are based on the national average as a starting point for negotiations. You will be pleased to find out that we pay very well with a generous production bonus and benefit package.
