Seeking General orthopedic surgeon to join hospital based orthopedic partnership. BC/BE in orthopedics required with subspecialty interest welcome in hand, total joints, back, sports or foot. One in Three call schedule required. This position is in SW Maine with easy access to Portland and Bangor. The practice serves a population of 40,000 in the service area.. Recently renovated office available for immediate occupant and a new office facility on the hospital grounds will be completed in early 2008. A comprehensive practice support package of services is available, along with a strong salary and benefit Register or log in for contact information office practice, which is sponsored by the hospital and located near the hospital campus, has the opportunity to convert to private practice over the next couple of years. If desired, during the transition, the hospital will provide substantial cash flow support to sustain a comprehensive annual salary, including a substantial benefit package. The practice provides coverage also at a new rehabilitation facility. The facility has a brand new Ambulatory Surgical Unit as well as recent renovations to all support areas surrounding our 3 operating rooms. Our progressive 51-member medical staff offers outstanding collegial relationships. Specialty and primary care referrals are readily available.
