Job Description

Orthopedic Surgeon is needed in southeastern Minnesota. Join a 120 physician multispecialty group with a 61 bed hospital and 10 outlying branch clinics. There are currently 2 fulltime Orthopedic Surgeons on staff. Due to high demand there is a need to add a third surgeon. Work 2 days per week in the O/R and three days in the office. The average number of patients per clinician per day is 2530. There is a 2 year income guarantee of $300k but can move into productivity based income in as little as 6 months. There is plenty to do here with the enormous parks system which consists of over 3500 acres of park land. There is 60+ miles of trails numerous playgrounds tennis courts picnic shelters outdoor pools a beach horseshoe courts ball and soccer fields basketball courts dog parks sand volleyball courts an archery range cross country ski trails. The city is home to 16 elementary schools 8 secondary/high schools 7 parochial schools and 1 private school. There are also opportunities for advanced education at one of the 10 colleges and universities that offer advanced degrees.
